I'd probably go get the beast and the parts myself if it made even remote sense economically. As someone else noted, a come-along will get the non-runner onto a trailer. I'd see about renting a pickup or SUV with a hitch and a car trailer. More comfy than a UHaul truck. You can get a Tahoe, Suburban or similar from a rental agency and UHaul has trailers. Some UHaul places also rent pick ups (but maybe only locally).
The caveat is that you may get whacked for a one-way rental from the car rental place (Hertz, National, etc). They don't do one way rentals they way they used to.
If you do go yourself--have a plan for containing all the parts unless the seller has them boxed.
