He used his common sense all right, only backwards then some skullduggery sprinkled on top. That's why he picked one of the coldest days, right after the biggest snow storm in New England history when the road has plenty left-over snow to increase rolling resistance . . .then picking such a long trip that is on the borderline range limit to begin with, and making all the detours through the city instead of going straight on the highway.
Perhaps Elon didn't take on enough debt from the bankster either directly or via the government? Now that his car is clearly beating the bankster/government favorites like the Fisker Burndown in the market place, the bankster paper is sending in an oil analyst to "review" the car.
As almost everyone knows around here, I'm not a big fan of battery electric cars, but prefer liquid fuel or fuelcell technologies, but the games that the dead tree printing media plays is getting ridiculous. Broder usually writes on the industry for NYT, only reviewed two cars, both electrics, both pans.
