Really, I own all three and without a doubt, the handling on the Subaru is superior. The 900 (88 convt) doesn't have traction control or anti-lock brakes. The Aero wagon is more fun to drive and more comfortable, but the comparison isn't even close.
You're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. I'm not sure what Subarus you've driven, but I live in the Northeast and in the snow, the Subaru will go when the Saab is stuck.
