I am using my network of people inside other companies and their networks with other firms as well to locate openings. Limited success but doing better than the "black hole submittals" which I do daily or as things appear.

It had been so long since the company I worked for had done any hiring (why stay at a clearly dying company) that I wasn't certain how long Resumes stayed active after receipt.
