next moth, next year, 50 and 100 years from now.
Driverless cars will happen in some places in small quantities, but real cars won't go away for a very long time. How long do you really think it will take to replace all the cars on the road today?
I don't have enough faith in technology to buy modern cars, let alone one that is run entirely by a computer. Think of all the little technical glitches we put up with on our phones, computers and tablets. And TVs and other "smart" devices. Do you really want to trust your life and that of your loved ones to a rolling computer system that goes 80 mph?
And besides, since self-driven cars probably won't go over the speed limit, what will all the cops do when they can't write speeding tickets?
