I definitely see where the bulbous/big/disproportionate comments come from. But I think the cars have a gorgeous presence on the road and the rarity of them makes them very appealing to me. I can't stand being at a stop light and seeing my same car coming at me from every direction. They're also an incredible ride. I've driven a few Aero's and a Turbo-4 6-speed, which was a lot of fun actually for seeming way underpowered on paper. They're so solid and well made on the inside, unlike any other Saab I've touched. So sad they went under when they finally had interior quality control figured out.

Last summer a 2011 Aero popped up for sale locally, absolutely loaded to the hilt with tech/nav/HUD/etc. with 19k miles on it. I got a pretty good financing package on it and if it weren't pull-me-over laser red I would have bought it on the spot. THANKFULLY I slept on it and decided it was an irresponsible decision, because not two days later I pissed off my landlord and was kicked out of the house I was renting. Buying my own place would have been tough with a $400/mo. car payment.
