I recently swapped a starter on a c900 and the one I put in was rebuilt (in a Bosch box, so from them maybe?)... this was from eeuro with a small core charge ($40). The shipping charge for this from Canada to eeuro will probably exceed $40 so I've basically written off the core charge, but I'm wondering if there is any other way companies (ie rebuilders) will take back a used part and hopefully pay a little - ie if there is something I might be able to do locally that I'm missing... so far I've assumed I'm SOL.
any thoughts would be much appreciated!
