If it is compressor and hose works and recharge, I guess it doesn't matter.
If it comes down to repairing/replacing any of the many ACC blend door levers or motors or knowing which one might be the bad one on a 9-5, it might be beneficial to use a Saab specialist that knows the ins and outs under the dashboard.
Even when the A/C compressor doesn't turn on, it could be nice to have the Tech 2 scan tool to figure out if it is the ACC panel, DICE module or Trionic ECM on a 9-5 not agreeing with the ON command.
