Man'O'man, it's gonna' be a hot one in San Diego today, almost 80. Hear tell it actually snowed once in the late 1960's in San Diego. We did have some minor flooding in the San Diego River Valley known as Mission Valley. Some shopping center parking lots and a golf course in the river valley were wiped out. There were a couple of big wildfires in San Diego last decade 2003 and 2007, hundreds of houses burned, some fatalities.
I think there are so many weather related accidents and fatalities in other states with more extreme weather (which is just about everywhere other than So Cal) that aren't really classified as necessarily caused by weather. Traffic accidents for example, wet slippery, icy roads, poor visibility, massive rain are all major contributors.
