You can phone me.
In taskmgr <ctl><shift><esc> look for processes that look bogus.
Start | Run | type in MRT <enter>
- should be July version
- run a full scan, takes a long time
- some times one needs to run from safe mode
- if problems found, repeat until clean
Install trial of AVG Network security, run full scan.
Install Spybot, update, scan. Finds things others do not. Go to advance mode then tools and startup, there may be things there to disable.
Review add-ons in IE and Firefox.
Firefox, use FlagFox to see where servers are. Use noscript to block scripts - a bit fussy to live with.
Using phone app to work with your points? If you use your own WiFi, that may be secure. If you use public access all data is visible to a hacker who is also there. Always use your cell phone provider's data service and do not use public access WiFi. If using a laptop on WiFi, if your url is accessed by https, then the connection is secure.
Phones can be infected, find a tool. AVG has a free phone app for android.
Check that updates are working. Some infections block that. If mrt is not current, that is a symptom of this.
