Who is going to sell the car in the US. My local dealer is now just a service center and not much of one at that. They share a tiny office with a couple of garages in a VW dealership. Who is going to buy the cars? I mean, I love Saabs, that's for sure, but who is going to buy a just about twice bankrupt brand that had trouble selling 20,000 (10,000?) cars a year. I mean, it didn't stop us from buying up a used 2007 SportCombi but my wife and I are about as loyal Saab owners as there possibly is... We've got an old model 9-3 as the 'new' car and having an old model is not going to go over that well with the press... What's the deal with the Chinese factory they are building? Once that is built and there is clearly an over supply of production facilities, what happens to Trollhatten then? If you only have a demand for 10,000 cars, you don't need two factories. How much are these Saabs going to cost. Everyone knows that no Saab ever went for anything near MSRP. And I keep hearing rumors that this car is supposed to bring in cash to fund the electric vehicle... that doesn't sound right either.
Can you tell I'm in rotten mood today?
-Scott
