OT: One of my 2012 projects is on page 25 of AutoWeek Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 26 Sep 2013 03:28:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Or more accurately, the project from which I was told to "Stay away and shut-up" is in the background of the page 25 photo in the AutoWeek magazine I received yesterday.
Why is there a 40-foot high wall of dirt in what is essentially a gently rolling prairie? Because some foolish GM managers insisted on spending millions of dollars and months of time to move thousands of cubic yards of soil to construct a level vehicle shipping lot. Rather than adopt my idea to construct a tiered lot which would have been quicker and far cheaper.
Oh, and the 'Buck Loader' vehicle ramp is broken in the photo too.
