Has anyone experienced this problem?
*** Situation is when a classic 900 CV sits for longer than three weeks, sometimes sooner, car needs jumped because battery looses charge. I have a shop and I personally own a 1994 Classic 900T CV with the same problem. Testing for draw by placing a FLUKE amp meter in line from the negative battery terminal to negative battery post and after all circuits settle down for 30 min i get .012A draw (1.2ma) which is nothing. Charging tested on a VAT meter concludes 13.96V and alternator is showing the alternator will put out 90A tested to a carbon pyle. I leave the gauge on testing for draw for days and get the same continual .012 +- .004A. Battery with a Snap-On battery tester, entering the CCA test good after car has ran for 1 hour. Hook the battery up and guarantee it will be dead in three weeks. I installed a disconnect. Not the right way but it works. I am baffled. Has anyone else had the problem and how did you cure it? Please share your experience with me.
