My Shindaiwa T242 line trimmer was running poorly Posted by K-Saab [Email] (#1142) [Profile/Gallery] (more from K-Saab) on Sat, 23 Nov 2013 09:57:23 In Reply to: Re: Does the idle smooth out when warm?, Brian, Sat, 23 Nov 2013 06:07:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
after only a couple months. I took it back to the dealer & the tech took the special tool to the carb and bingo, it ran like a champ. The next time it happened a clever sole put his home made special tool to use and bingo full throttle and max rpms. My special tool is a nail flattened on one side forming a D.
This is no different than torx bits being used on cars. There's always a work around and the internet is "the place" in the open market.
