Have always had good experiences with Charles River Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Tue, 11 Feb 2014 07:33:03 In Reply to: mechanics in MA reviews/suggestions, Denis, Mon, 10 Feb 2014 07:50:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've been taking my Saabs there for about 10 years. I was little nervous when they combined with their Volvo dealer, but their service level for Saabs has remained the same and there are always Saabs in there. They've never once tried to sell me anything and always get the job done right. They are a bit pricey, but it's worth it to me to know I'm going to get my cars fixed properly the first time and I'll have a free loaner, albeit a Volvo, when needed. They're also cool with me bringing my own parts on occasion, but the parts guys are great too. FWIW, I bring an old Saab ('95 9k) and a "newer" Saab ('04 9-3) to them and they can capably handle both.
I've heard good things about RPM Automotive in Allston as well, but I've never been there.
