I would just tell you to go to local hardware, big-box lumber store, get one, replace in 10 minutes, couldn't be easier.
I HAD told a coworker just that, and it turns out he had one with opposite threads where it screws into the gas valve. I had never heard of that, but a little Googlin', and sure enough, one manufacturer did that, for a few years. You can buy "their" thermocouple at Lowes, as they carried that brand of water heater.
Forgetting that, they're all the same, but some have longer capillary tubes. Even if you get one longer than what you need, simply coil excess.
