I'm pretty sure on the c900 they say to change the pads at 4mm. I'm about due on the 1993. Our indy reports pad life in % and it is mostly just eyeballed. 30%, 50%, whatever... sometimes the% went up after doing nothing. So I now measure each tire rotation and write it down in the records for the car.
