Only time will tell.

This is at Wayne State University. UofM considers spouses of medical residents living in on campus housing to be out-of-state students if the couple moved to Michigan from another state for the medical resident to accept the job offer . No way UofM would even have a residency reclassification request process.

He was interviewed by UofM and Yale and Penn but not accepted. The whole Medical School application/interview/acceptance process is very humbling for students who previously could pretty much "write their own ticket" throughout their entire education career.
