I tend to agree with you DE, the newer Audi's are much more reliable than the early ones. I have heard from friends and INDY's that the earlier ones were "not" very reliable, period. I test drove a AWD Audi A4 2 years ago and was very very impressed--in fact i almost lost in a corner with the Salesman in the back seat, what torque! When I bought my 01'93SEHOT, i was told by the Salesperson NOT to buy the V-6 as the time chain has destoryed a many, considering they had customer (3) V-6's in the back lot with broken timing chains which destroyed the motors.
