Hi Gary -
I've tried to get more information regarding production numbers, but could not find any solid information. I've also heard that they had enough parts to build ~1K 2011 9-4Xs, but only about half were actually built. The rumors are that the parts for the other 500 vehicles are in storage somewhere or were disposed of (not sure exactly what "disposed of" meant, if destroyed or sold off to a third party) by GM when things went bad.
Please do follow up if you get any additional production info!
