As a longtime member/subscriber to the magazine, they send once a year their "explorer vacation excursions " type of book. It's about a half inch thick with dozens of guided tours of exotic places around the world, which I could only dream of visiting. The society has several of their own large cruise type ships...for those who are unfamiliar witht the brochure it's really something to see, amazing. Prices range from about 3500- all the way up to 75K for an around the world flight on a custom fitted 757 ! I'm just fascinated by the diversity of opportunity to explore what this world has to offer, especially with all the bad in the news today. It's all pretty much out of my price range, but I was just wondering if anyone here has actually gone on one of their trips, and if it was a positive experience. Thanks.
