Epic Fail.
I found this article on-line today at lunch and immediately started searching for mention of a Saab. Saab was the first manufacturer to broadly utilize turbo-charging of small displacement engines to achieve performance and efficiency. A technique that all manufacturers are utilizing today but Saab adopted this over 20 years ago.
Along the way Saab had a number of performance cars based on turbocharging. The 99 turbo, the C900 Talledaga, the 9000 Talledaga, the 900SPG, the 9000 Aero, the Viggen, etc. Certainly one of these cars would generate mention in a field of 100.
Wrong! No mention of any Saabs. Although the authors did manage to identify four TVRs they found worth of inclusion. Four! Among my friends I may be the only person who knows that TVR made automobiles, and even I didn't think they would qualify for a single entry in this article.
Rubbish. I remember the P-M of my youth when the magazine was pocket sized and contained all sorts of valuable information. Now it no longer qualifies for toilet reading.
