When will Saabs become hobby cars? Posted by Dan [Email] (#2459) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Dan) on Sun, 6 Sep 2015 15:01:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When I was a kid, Studebakers were weird cars. They weren't made anymore but there are a few on the road.
When will that happen to Saabs? In some parts of the U.S., you can drive all day and not see one but in some cities, you can see one every few minutes when driving.
I think by 2031, Saabs will definitely be a hobby car, being 20 years after the 2011 model. However, it will seem like that much sooner, like 2023, which is 15 years after the 2008, the last big year of Saab sales in the U.S. Hope I'm wrong.
For people who want to buy a new car, Saabs are already out of the picture. The newest Saab is 4 years old already, not including a few rare ones made by NEVS and sold in Sweden. 2011 was not a full model year for Saab so it's already beyond 5 years old for the 2010 Saabs.
