But when I replaced my DD last year, I didn't have a lot of $, and couldn't find a saab that was in good repair, so ended up getting an '05 infiniti g35. I paid under $6000 for it, as it had a lot of miles (150k).
I have put about 20k miles on it, and I have had to replace the battery, and some front end suspension pieces due to worn out rubber bushings, and the fuel sender, that's it. The Engine and transmission are AWESOME! even with close to 175,000 miles, it is eager and ready to go. Repairs on it have been quite inexpensive. parts are actually quite cheap, and readily available, and I have a feeling I am going to get well into 250k miles with this car.
The only things I really miss about my saabs are fuel economy, around town I get the same ish with the infiniti, but highway miles are not nearly as good as its final drive is pretty low, and the space (going from a wagon to a sedan is always a disappointment) but when I go to replace it in a few years, it will probably be with another infiniti.
