Yes the service manager is being a goof. But part of the problem could be his mechanics. At a dealership the Tech's would often resist working on any make or model they were not familiar with. At the old Saab dealership they probably did not sell enough to be very proficient with 9-7's. The GM dealership just is afraid to tackle it. Maybe they are unaware of how GM the 9-7x is. When I was at the dealership the 9-7x used the GM tech 2 card to access the ecm's while 9-3, 9-5 used the Saab tech 2 card. So every GM dealership would have access to all the 9-7's ecm's. When I was at the dealership we would work on any car a customer brought to us in part because we felt honored when our customer's trusted us enough to bring us there other cars. Good Luck, Bernie
