Why I love my old Saab (86 9000T)

No traction Control
No ABS
No leaky sunroof
No CD player
No A/C (anymore)
No "bluetooth" (whatever that is)
No DVD player for the kids in back (they can sing along to the tape player !)
No auto climate control
No satellite radio
No "OnStar".(no Big Brother).
No airbags .
No "keyless entry".
No car alarm to waken the neighbours.
No leather seats (cold in winter hot in summer and often crack).
No foglights or driving lights (to get knocked off or broken).
No Automatic transmission (I do not want to be a "shiftless basta-d".)
No extended warrenty (they are never a good ides !)
No heated seats.
No headlight wipers (ever on this US spec. car)
No monthly car payments.
No muffler (only a resonator).
No high insurance premiums.
No cup holders (in front - are we here to drive or drink ?)
No 140mph top speed (who needs it ?)
No "paddle shifters".
No heated seats (anymore).(who needs "bun warmers"?)
No G.M. meddling with what was a damn fine car.
Sometimes life is not about what you want . It is about what you really need .
