I obviously don't know the merits of these allegations, but Victor always impressed me as a snake oil salesman.

I know little about cars or finance, but even I could tell it was BS when he said 3 years of production were funded and Saab only needed to sell 10 cars to be profitable. Was any other company profitable with so few sales (even Victor's megabucks cars lost money)? Frankly I was surprised that so many people bought this crap. I looked seriously at a NG 9-5 in late 2010 and liked the car a lot, and would have bought it if I thought the company was viable, which I didn't.

Some people have a talent for making disastrous decisions and exiting make a big profit while leaving others to hold the bag. I put Victor in this category.
