Well seeing he was only paying himself $ $773,000 annually when he was Saab's CEO, one could reason that he needed to make additional money from some other source, after all he was known as an accomplished entrepreneur.
For me I never quite understood all the vitriol directed at GM when a prince of a guy like Victor waltzed away with the company, if GM made Saab's casket Victor drove the nails into it.
