Yes, I was able to get the recall fix on my 9-2X Aero which I was notified about last year by letter. I was then notified that a part was released for my VIN and I was able to schedule an appt with my local certified service center which is B&B Saab in Sunnyvale CA, but which has been pretty much absorbed by a VW dealer. But yes, they knew about the recall and needed my letter and documentation although I was told they could just look up my VIN and see that a part had been released and order it... the process didn't quite go smoothly as they scheduled my appt and then did not have the part on hand to install... they did make it up to me with a free oil change/service but my car ended up being there from a Friday (they forgot to call me to tell me that my car was done and ready to be picked up) until the next Tuesday when the part arrived.
