My comment is that you are right, Takata is actually probably paying for it in the end, but at least GM is facilitating getting these recalls done... I don't like GM.. they did everything they could to do as little as possible to market Saab even when they saw 9-3 & 9-5 sedan sales going well.. they let the brand die on the vine... I was going to mention authorized Saab Service Centers but many of these are Saab indies and really have nothing to do with GM anyway... but when I got my Takata airbag recall fix done at my service center which was a VW dealership, they replaced the airbag without presenting me with any list of things to fix or anything to consider to buy, they just fixed my airbag and gave me my car back.
