I have a Harbor Freight 10x17 "portable garage" similar to what you see in your first picture, though it has a roll-up door and a back panel. I mainly keep lawn/gardening equipment in it.
It has held up surprisingly well in the wind. We've had storms with 50-60 mph gusts and it's held fast. Snow is more of a problem. I go out and clear it off every couple of hours when we get a big snowstorm. (This type of shelter can be had from other vendors with a rounded roof which might be less prone to accumulating snow, but those were much more expensive.)
Also these need to be reskinned very 2-3 years since it's basically just a pipe framework covered by a big tarp. This deteriorates over time and exposure to the elements. HF doesn't sell the covering separately, have to buy another complete unit.
