Okay, I think that I'm playing with fire here. They might be fine, but the damage done to the car would not be worth it. It's a Viggen and lots of parts don't exist anymore. I was hoping for someone to say something else, but I think I know what I should be doing...

I don't drive the car much, it's more of a toy. I'd like to get nice tires that are ~150 more for the set. But, I could get a decent set of tires for 150 less and I imagine the benefit to me would be marginal in getting the "better" set (Dunlops vs Michelins, the former being the less expensive option). For the amount that I drive and my style of driving, I may just opt for the cheaper option. I'll put up with a bit of a louder tire.

Safety is key.
