Charging system issues Posted by ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ryan) on Mon, 13 Jun 2016 09:39:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've got a 1994 Hyundai Excel and it died on me yesterday.. I pulled into a gas station and there was not enough juice to start it back up. Lights were dim, blower fan was weak, etc. I was able to swap batteries and get it home on battery power alone (by the time I got it home, the replacement battery was also discharged to the point of not being able to start the car). I replaced the alternator last night, charged up the battery and thought all was well. Drove into work this morning and it died as I pulled into my parking spot. Same thing... lights dim, battery almost dead.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this???
