We're needing a roof top box for trips to our second home in Nova Scotia. It will go on my wife's 9-5 Wagon, which will become my daily driver in a couple of years. So we'll have it awhile.

Am looking at both Yakima and Thule and the 74" models seem like a good fit with no front or rear overhangs, and at that size the hatch can be raised with a box in place. Won't need it so much for skis in winter, but for carrying extra stuff when we head up for a month or more. Will probably buy used on CL if I can find a decent one.

Is there anything I need to know about these? Any gotchas?
