For folks interested in Mexico, Global Entry and SENTRI, the fast lanes through the Mexican border at San Ysidro and Otay Mesa and other Mexico ports, is the same application and the same form, you just have to check both boxes, and get your car.
We bought a beach house 15 minutes south of the border, 35 minutes from our house in San Diego, for 1/10th the price of the same place in California. Very nice gated and guarded community of San Antonio Del Mar, 22km south of the border before you get to Rosarito on the toll road. Baja is very nice, very inexpensive, your retirement dollars go much MUCH farther, especially as regards to property. And we're just 40-60 minutes from our home in San Diego with SENTRI even during prime border crossing time.
