I went from high end Michelins to the Bridgestones and they are a far better tire. There is better road feel, they are better in rain, handling is crisper. I have 215/55x16 on my wife's 9-5 wagon, and I put a set of 205/55x16 on my 9000. too. They wear well, too. Won't handle like a high performance tire, but they don't ride like one, either.
FWIW, I have never like Michelins, and have had 3-4 versions of them over the years. To me they are just round, black and good for 40K miles. Numb, mediocre in all conditions. Over-priced, too.
But if you want summer only, try a Bridgestone Extreme Performance All season. They just changed the model numbers, but I had those for a couple summers that included track days. Pretty good sneakers. But read reviews! And get a full alignment when you mount them!
