I have an inexpensive corded one. Typically I find corded tools are better able to handle power demands, at least over extended use. However, I know there are some great cordless options out there. I would suggest going for something with lots of battery and like others mentioned, consider the overall system if you might use other battery powered tools.
Generally air tools are most powerful, so it depends on what you have and what you are looking for. To be honest, my corded one doesn't have that much grunt, but it is great for spinning off nuts/bolts in awkward places to fit a breaker, or things that require speed to remove to avoid spinning. Definitely a worthwhile tool to have on hand!
