The background check also includes a Psychological Profile Test that is over 500 questions long, and a Personality Assessment that may be 50 questions long.

And when you provide the required contact information for three non-family references, each of these gets asked only one question "Give us three references for Joe Blow". Each of those resulting nine people also get asked the same single question asked of the initial three. That now provides the investigators with up to 27 people who know you, but who may be far enough removed from your close circle of friends that there is no way for you to predict their responses.

And Criminal activity checks, and Financial status verification, and former Supervisors, and Neighbors, and...........
