Well, I'm guessing you'd be fine. After all, what has happened to our name sake, Saab? The world hasn't stopped spinning and all is fine after they ceased production. I'm sure it will be the same with Fiat.
It's fair to mention my wife has a 2015 commemorative edition convertible (more of a soft hatch back, but anyway), this one gets more attention in parking lots than any other car I've ever owned.
Yes it's slow, but it is fun to drive and you can open and close the top below 50 mph.
So if the Fiat floats your boat, trust you instinct and go for it.
