Since the designer had been involved with that model before starting on the Safir.
From wiki
The Safir was designed by Anders J. Andersson, who had previously worked for Bücker, where he had designed the all-wood Bücker Bü 181 "Bestmann"
Also SK25 is the Swedish Airforce name for that model where SK stands for "school" as in trainer.
