The fact that Justin Trudeau has banned Americans from entering potentially creates problems. They say those with essential business can enter but their definition of essential is extremely narrow. Basically it is truck drivers and air crew. Everybody else shouldn't assume it is easy.
There are stories of Americans with vacant property in Canada where there's been a major problem, such as sudden water leakage and mold (mould, Canadian English) but Canada saying that is non-essential. Others have a long time boyfriend or girlfriend but are not yet married. They are considered non-essential. Even reports that the American have pre-arranged quarantine plans (required of returning Canadians) have not been sufficient.
So it is probably possible but if there are any problems, you cannot go there to fix the problem.
