Glad you can go that route. Both my wife’s and my daughter’s cars have February registration expirations this year. We renewed them online in early January when the notices came, and received letters from NYSDMV informing us that registration and window sticker processing and mailing is severely backlogged and that we should plan to print and use the temporary documents attached to the online receipt in the likelihood that the original documents won’t arrive in time.

At least it doesn’t involve a trip to the office…… ugh
