and as I'm driving around I hear something in the cargo area clinking as I make turns. Turns out the mechanic failed to replace a cover, big and heavy one, that fits over the front fuel pump. I dont know if its for sound deadening or a safety cover due to it is a High pressure fuel pump. The clinking was the 4 bolts that hold it to the block, and all that is sitting in the Beauty cover. Ordinarily I wouldn't really bitch about this, mistakes happen, I would just get to the dealer early, drop off the truck, go back few hours later and pick up the car. But this adds to the 6 week delay getting the fuel pumps delivered. Thank heaven I still have my 9-5, which has only left me stranded twice in the last 18 years.
