I don’t think there is much you can do besides be patient. You might consider finding a used part from a wreck and seeing if the dealer will install it just to get the car moving.
The reality is that there are shortages of parts and supplies throughout the economy, allegedly due to covid. The corporation I work for sources adhesives from another large corporation and we’ve been told that many of their advanced adhesives are not available because some of the chemical components of those adhesives are unavailable and they don’t know when they’ll be available again. Tough if you don’t like it. As a result, we’re scrambling to qualify other adhesives to keep production moving but the precision components we make use specific adhesives for a reason.
