Hello,
1:I think the fitting at the hoses and caliper should be the 10X1 bubble flare. And the 4.75mm size tubing.
2:Yes get the 3/16 easy bend line they now sell. They are interchangeable.
3: No compression fittings on brake lines.
4: Not sure who's tool to buy, I obvious use an overpriced Snap On or MAC tool. But where you will need bubble flares at the caliper and hose.
5: I would not buy a bending tool just use the easy bend line. If you cut it off in one piece just bend the new line to match it using wire ties to keep the two lines equal. I often use a piece of larger pipe to bend the line around to make it easier, and less likely to kink.
6:Not sure about pre-bent lines for our cars. l
7: As far as getting the old fitting off the caliper. Usually you can cut the line off at the fitting and pound a nice 6 point socket on to remove the fitting when they are all messed up.
Good Luck, Bernie
