Don:
Great to hear you are holding up your end in eastern PA. At the rate you are driving the 9-3 SS should be around for many years to come. Having four 9-5s, three combis and a sedan, I am new to the NG 9-3 this year. We got a 2004 9-3 Aero cabrio (six-speed, of course) this summer with only 70+ thousand miles. We drive it now and then on nice days so the mileage won’t increase very quickly. I must admit the 9-3 is great fun to drive and the NG cabrio is very solid, but maybe not the tank the 9-5 is. That four cylinder engine is also smooth and responsive. The 9-3 has a more nimble feel than the 9-5 and is amazingly quiet with the top down and the Saab wind screen. We get all around eastern PA from Malvern to Macungie and many other places on the map and keep our eyes open for Saabs. Don’t give up the ship, or the Saab.
