Of course many of your remember back in 2002 when I announced that the Saabnet.com server was now 100% solar powered ( https://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/general/index.html?bID=82274 ). Well, it still is and more, but I've been upgrading!!

We have three separate solar arrays on our "solar farm" roof. The green (12 panels) in back is from 2002 and is still producing well (1.5Kw). The red (13 panels) was installed by Monalee.co (5.1Kw). The blue (20 panels) is my own DIY running through three grid-tied inverters to a dedicated 20amp circuit (4Kw). When we submitted permits to the town, they asked us to raise our panels to 35 degrees for maximum production at this latitude, so they are pretty knowledgeable and pro-rooftop solar! We also have a Tesla Powerwall for storage. In one power outage, we got it to last for 50+ hours of power.
