3M headlight protector.... Posted by REM in Seattle [Email] (#4) [Profile/Gallery] (more from REM in Seattle) on Fri, 8 Dec 2000 09:14:01 In Reply to: Cracked Headlights, Steve Sery, Thu, 7 Dec 2000 18:10:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have used the 40 mil thick product and the 23 mil thick product with no problems.
I used the 40 mil thick product on my 1984 Saab 900T with e-code hedlights and they worked great for 7 years.
I had the 40 mil thick product on my 1998 Saab 900SET DOT headlights for 2.5 years with no problems, and currently have the 23 mil thick (new 'better' design) material on the new E-code headlights I installed. Again, no problems.
I purchased my headlight protectors from Griot's Garage. http://www.griotsgarage.com
The material really saves the headlights from rocks.
Can't say whether the 9-5 headlights have any peculiar problems or not.
