I actually haven't sat in any american vehicle which doesn't suffer from the same shitty seat design. They all make the occupants sloutch in the low back area, exactly where the saab seats are so supportive. Hopefully Jeep has woken up & corrected the problem.
We have a y2K suburban & it also suffers from poor seat design. The 98 we had prior felt the same except the passenger seat's bottom was in a angle that you felt like you were sliding off the seat :o(
My girlfriends Jeep is just the v6 model & only gets mid/upper teens for MPG. Originally she wished she would of purchased the V8 version but with the soaring petrol prices, she is thankfull. I just wish we would of met a few weeks earlier so I could of talked her into a car instead of a suv.
But she likes it :o(
I would like to know the percentage of people who do actually take their vehicles off road on a regular basis
