Thanks to both of you for great information. While I'm not sure I need a project right now, I'm going to look into both the 850 and the 750. I have a reasonable library of Saab books and information, but neither model (especially the 750) is covered in great detail. I've seen 96s and the occasional 850 in the US, but I've never had the chance to see a 93 or 750. I understand that the 93 was imported only late in its production cycle (started in '56? Initially shown at the NYC show, right?).
Do you know of any helpful internet sites to tell me a little about the 750 and 850?
Thanks again for great information!!!
